• Fall Travel Boarding

If you're looking for boarding for popular fall holiday and leaf-peeping weekends, you'll want to call ASAP for a reservation. We will be at or near capacity for many of the popular vacation weeks. Unfortunately, once we're at capacity, we're completely full and not able to accept any additional reservations for that weekend. Please give us a call as soon as you know your summer vacation schedule so we can reserve space for your fur kids!

  • No-Shows & Cancellations

    Howdy Pet Village Fam!

Recently we've had a high number of appointment no-shows. Can you help us fix that? Because we operate on an appointment basis, no-shows take money out of our groomers' pockets. We know most folks would never no-show/no-call their hair stylist and we'd like to avoid requiring deposits or prepayment for appointments.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us a call as early as possible (at least 48 hours before your appointment is extremely helpful) so we can try to fill your spot. We understand emergencies happen but do give us a call and let us know what's up. Thanks for helping our local small business stay healthy and able to service you and your fur kids for a long time to come!

  • 'When Gina Chapman became an owner of The Pet Village in Rock Hill, South Carolina last year, her first order of business was to end the sale of puppies and other live animals in the store. The business now focuses its services on “luxury cageless pet boarding and grooming” instead. The shop partners with Chapman’s Dachshund Rescue to offer dogs for adoption, and also maintains a list of local rescue groups on its website.

Gina was recently joined by her sister, Caren Wallace, [of Chester Grooming Barn] as an equal partner in running the store. According to the Pet Village website, “We strongly believe in the power of rescue and adoption to change the lives not only of pets but also of the families who become their furever homes.” The success of their business shows that the pet products and services industry can prosper without relying on selling mill-bred animals."'

  • It's a New Day at The Pet Village!

We do not offer animals for sale (no puppies, kittens, fish, rats, etc.) and have no since the ownership change in 2019. If you're looking for a new member of the family, check out our Adoption Guide. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SELL PETS (or prey animals).

We have been recognized by The Humane Society of the United States for our philosophy of helping families adopt instead of shopping while offering affordable luxury grooming and cage-free boarding services.
